Gabrielle Foote

Gabrielle Foote is a dedicated advocate on a mission to support survivors of sexual violence. Gabrielle founded this nonprofit organization to help survivors of sexual violence. A recent college graduate of Arizona State University, Gabrielle is deeply involved in her community and advocacy work.

She serves on the S.H.A.R.E. Committee at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV) and is a member of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice (CSSJ). In September 2024, she attended the "March on Washington" with CSSJ to further her advocacy efforts.

Gabrielle has been happily married since November 2017 and is a proud mother of two beautiful girls. She and her family reside in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jennifer Anderson, DVM

Jennifer Anderson is the Vice President of Survivors' Power, a dedicated supporter and advocate for survivors of sexual violence. Her extensive support and general knowledge help guide the board with wisdom and compassion.

In addition to her advocacy work, Jennifer is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a diverse range of experience that has taken her from Colorado and New Mexico to South Africa and, currently, Alaska. Her vast skill set and dedication amplify her quality as a veterinarian.

Jennifer is a strong Indigenous woman of the Athabaskan Alaskan natives. She has been happily married since September 2021. She and her husband have a beautiful baby girl, and their family includes a loving dog and a mischievous cat. They reside in Anchorage, Alaska.

Wendy Romo

With almost 20 years of experience in various programs with a long-standing social service non-profit, A New Leaf, Wendy’s journey has been defined by a passion for creating positive change and supporting those in need.

 In recent years, Wendy has navigated the evolving landscape of sexual violence services with an understanding of the unique needs and challenges of sexual violence survivors.

Wendy has played a pivotal part in the establishment and progression of A New Leaf's REACH Sexual Violence Services Center, providing survivors with a dedicated 24-Hour Sexual Violence Services Helpline, Holistic Healing classes, Support Groups, and Counseling services. As Non-Profit Relations Officer for Survivors' Power,  Wendy brings insight, compassion, and strategic vision to the organization, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the mission at hand. Wendy is dedicated to fostering a society where survivors of sexual violence not only find healing and support but also experience a collective shift towards empathy, understanding, and positive change.

Wendy is a mother to four accomplished adult children and enjoys frequent visits with her four “grand-dogs”.
